Twitter Wants To Remove Their Famous 'Like' Button

Some big changes are on the way on Twitter! One of those big changes is the plan to get rid of their famous "Like" button for good!

According to Bustle, the founder of Twitter, Jack Dorsey, apparently isn't a fan of the "Like" button and wants to finally get rid of it.

"As we've been saying for a while, we are rethinking everything about the service to ensure we are incentivizing healthy conversation, that includes the like button. We are in the early stages of the work and have no plans to share right now."

A product manager at Twitter, Akarshan Kumar, gave his two cents about the changes.

"The heart, in contrast, is a universal symbol that resonates across languages, cultures, and time zones. The heart is more expressive, enabling you to convey a range of emotions and easily connect with people. And in our tests, we found that people loved it."

It has taken a couple of years but the changes are about to take place so standby. No exact date has been given yet but keep your Twitter fingers ready.
