CMAs: Complete Winners List Here

Keith Urban and Chris Stapleton were the big winners at CMA Awards Wednesday night at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

Keith walked away with the coveted Entertainer of the Year honor. The Aussie has been nominated 10 times since his first and only other win in the category in 2005.

Stapleton, the front-runner of the night, ended up winning three of the five awards he was nominated for, nabbing Male Vocalist of the Year for the fourth consecutive year. He also won the awards for Single of the Year and Song of the Year for “Broken Halos.”

For the third year in a row, Brothers Osborne nabbed Vocal Duo of the Year. During the acceptance speech, TJ joked that if the awards were held in Florida, they would have to do a recount.

Old Dominion won their very first CMA Award, Vocal Group of the Year, ending Little Big Town’s six-year winning streak.

Most Notable Moments:

  • Garth Brooks started off the show with a moment of silence for the 12 people who lost their lives in last week’s shooting in Thousand Oaks, California.
  • Luke Bryan kicked off the show with his single “What Makes You Country,” joined by Luke Combs, Cole Swindell, Lindsay Ell, Chris Janson, Jon Pardi, and Ashley McBryde.
  • Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood joked about the movie A Star Is Born and Chris Stapleton falling asleep in the front row, saying his snoring was even on key.
  • Just as everyone expected, Carrie revealed the gender of her baby -- it's a boy! After the reveal, Mason Ramsay joined her and Brad onstage to yodel a big brother-themed parody of "Lovesick Blues," the Hank Williams tune that made him famous.
  • Brad gifted Carrie with a bubble-wrap dress, in the hopes that it would help her if she happened to fall again. She returned to the stage a few minutes later wearing it.
  • Over the past year, several country stars have opened bars in Downtown Nashville, and Brad joked that he plans to be the next artist to open one of his own -- called "Whiskey Lullaby Bar and Daycare Center" because it's "not responsible to get drunk with your kids at home."
  • Kacey Musgraves celebrated her 10-year anniversary of moving to Nashville by winning Album of the Year.
