You originally thought that Victoria's Secret perfumes were for smelling pretty right? Apparently they have another good purpose - for keeping the mosquitos away according to Cosmopolitan.
This comes from a new study out of New Mexico State University. "For the study, researchers at New Mexico State University compared the effectiveness of different mosquito repellants. Making things really interesting, they also included some perfumes in their study."
The study found that Victoria's Secret's Avon Skin So Soft Bath Oil & Bombshell Perfume were the best to warn away those nasty boogers.
"There was some previous literature that said fruity, floral scents attracted mosquitoes, and to not wear those. It was interesting to see that the mosquitoes weren't actually attracted to the person that was wearing the Victoria's Secret perfume–they were repelled by it." - Stacy Rodriguez (study research assistant)
