2 People where killed and 27 people injured when an amusement park ride snapped in half mid-ride. The scary moment was caught on camera as it plummeted to the ground from 20 ft. up.
It was a typical day at the Kankaria Theme Park in India until tragedy struck when a ride called Discovery brok in half mid-ride and sent riders into the support beams and crashing into the ground. TheTimes of India reported that 27 people where taken to the hospital and several where in critical condition. 2 people died from their injuries in the crash, as well.

The park is now quickly looking into what caused the rides malfunction, that turned deadly. The ride owners told the Ahmedabad Mirror “All our equipment as well as maintenance certificates, police certification, fire NOC and other documents are in order. We have had continuous inspection and clearance from the authorities for the past four years and we have submitted the same to the police.”
This is my wife's biggest fear and the reason she won't ever go on a ride with me at an amusement park, unless it's a major park like Disney. How scary for those people! Hope the survivors fully recover and the families of those killed can find some peace after such a horrific accident. Wow!
