Brotherhood Motorcycle and Jeep Ride For Injured LaGrange Firefighters

On September 3rd, four firefighters from the LaGrange Fire Deaprtment were seriously injured while battling an intense house fire. Four of the firefighters had to be taken to the Grady Memorial Hospital burn unit due to receiving second and third-degree burns. Those firefighters were Josh Williams (current in Augusta at the Burn Center with burns over 30% of his body, 25% being 3rd degree), Jonathan Williamson, Pete Trujillo and Jordan Avera.

Thankfully, Jordan Avera and Pete Trujillo were released from Grady but these heroes as well as the other two that remain in the hospital (one at Grady and one in Augusta) still have a long road to recovery.

The local fire departments (Troup County, West Point & LaGrange) have organized a benefit Jeep/Motorcycle Ride that will take place on October 6 at the Mike Daniel Recreation Center on LaFayette Parkway in LaGrange, GA to benefit these firefighters and their families during this time.
