Are you ready to try your prospector’s luck and support local military heroes? Come out to Gameday for Heroes and Rally Point’s first ever Gold Rush Family Event on Friday, June 5 from 4-7pm at the Family Center (1350 15th Avenue, Columbus, GA) and learn to pan for gold.
This fun activity will include panning classes and your chance to find your motherlode! Each participant will get a bag of rich pay dirt guaranteed to have gold and some will even have cut gems! Everything you need will be provided including a glass vial to store all the gold you find.
Families can also enjoy grilled hotdogs and an auction that will include prospecting gear for their next gold adventure.
The cost for this fun-filled family evening is $25 for kids, $30 for adults and free for Military and Littles from the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. All proceeds support The Family Center’s Military programs - Gameday for Heroes and Rally Point Military Programs
